Dominik Kapral is one of the most consistent, kind, and responsible students at Westfield Middle School, and he sets a positive tone for our entire building every single day.
In the classroom, Dominik is known for his contagious enthusiasm and hard work. He has an attitude towards learning that gives everything a certain level of respect and importance. Dominik arrives with a smile and greets everyone with a hello every morning. He asks thoughtful questions and his peers are always happy to be assigned as his partner. They know that with Dom leading the way, their group will be on task, successful, and well-supported. He brings that same level of commitment to all his classes and he offers great insights and a thorough understanding of every topic discussed.
Dominik’s leadership extends well beyond the classroom. He was a key contributor to our 8th Grade Boys Cross Country Conference Championship team, where his dedication and work ethic were evident at every practice and meet. Other students are inspired because of how he carries himself as an athlete. He embraces hard work, refuses to complain, and that influence spreads to other athletes. He supports the students on the teams he is on regardless of who they are. Dominik leads by example, and his peers are quick to follow his lead.
What really makes Dominik stand out, however, is his character. He is genuinely welcoming to everyone and has a way of making his classmates feel important. He balances his academics and extracurriculars with a high level of integrity. Dominik consistently models what it means to be a WARRIOR!
