Maddie has been chosen by DuJardin as the Above & Beyond Award Recipient for September because she is AMAZING! She is a shining example of what it means to lead like a jaguar. Maddie comes into school every day with a positive attitude, a smile for everyone she passes, and an enthusiasm for learning. She is a very dedicated student, and always tries her best in everything she does. Maddie is an incredibly mature student and is wise beyond her years. She is always able to come up with a solution to any situation, and goes above and beyond to help others through any obstacle they face as well. Her Specials' teachers have noticed how hard she works in their classrooms. In Art, Maddie is extremely creative and always produces beautiful art projects. She respects all materials, and always has compliments to say about the creations of others. If anyone in the room is struggling, she always lends a helping hand and words of encouragement. In PE, Maddie is a quiet leader that is constantly leading by example. She is someone who can be counted on to be following directions and going out of her way to include her classmates. She is incredibly kind and always thinking about the people around her. In the Music room, Maddie is always cheerful and willing to help in any way that she can. She actively participates and enjoys all classroom activities. In the Library, she is an excited reader with a bright mind. Maddie does a wonderful job following expectations, and chooses excellent books to read. Maddie is a wonderful friend to others, and is kind to everyone she interacts with. She is the first person to jump up to help anyone out when they are in need. She helps her peers through any problems that they face, and is always volunteering to help her teachers out in the classroom. She speaks to others with kindness and does a great job of cheering others up when they are having a hard time. She is very responsible, always follows directions, and is always ready and prepared for each subject of the school day. DuJardin is truly lucky to have a student as wonderful as Maddie! She makes every day a great day to be a DuJardin jaguar!
