DuJardin would like to nominate Ava Mock as the April "Above and Beyond" recipient. Ava is a rockstar! She is a perfect example of what it means to lead like a jaguar. Ava comes into school each day with a positive attitude, a smile for everyone she passes, and an enthusiasm for learning. She is a very dedicated student, and always tries her best in everything she does. Ava is an excellent problem solver, and is always able to come up with a solution to push past any obstacle that she encounters. Her specials' teachers have noticed how hard she works in their classrooms as well as her homeroom and math classes. In Art, Ava is extremely creative and always produces beautiful art projects, she respects all materials, and always has compliments to say about her own projects and the creations of others. In PE Ava is a kind, empathetic student with a heart of gold. She goes out of her way to make sure her classmates are happy and is always worried about the people around her. She does her best everyday and is always striving to get better! In the Music room, Ava does a wonderful job creating beautiful music, and does her best to help her classmates do the same. In the Library she is an excited reader with a bright mind. Ava is a wonderful friend to others, and is kind to everyone she interacts with. She is the first person to jump up to help anyone out when they are in need. She helps her peers through any problems that they face, and is always volunteering to help her teachers out in the classroom. She speaks to others with kindness and does a great job of cheering others up when they are having a hard time. She is very responsible, always follows directions, and is always ready and prepared for each subject of the school day. DuJardin is truly lucky to have a student as wonderful as Ava! She makes every day a great day to be a DuJardin jaguar!
