Board Reports and Requests

Enrollment
The Board discussed the first and sixth day enrollment figures. The total enrollment to-date is 1453. Dr. Perkins stated that he was very pleased with the overall figures. He did indicate, however, that this figure appears to be a 6% decline over the last five years.

A brief discussion was held regarding the Early Childhood Program housed at DuJardin School. Dr. Perkins indicated that he and Dr. Steve Epperson from Roselle District 12 have been in communication regarding the EC program, as a number of these students come from District 12. Dr. Perkins will keep the Board apprised of his discussions with Dr. Epperson.

Chicago Public Schools Tour
Board Members discussed the upcoming Triple I Conference that will be held in November in Chicago. Reservations have been made at the Swissotel. Pre-conference workshop information is available on-line and will be distributed to the Board. Board Members were asked to let Dr. Perkins know if they would like to be registered for the Chicago School Tours on November 21.
