I am a Resource Teacher at DuJardin School. I began teaching in 1985 and started at Dujardin in 1998. I have a BS degree in learning disabilities and social/emotional disorders from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. I earned a certificate in elementary education, intellectually disabled and middle school social science from National Lewis University. I also received an MED in middle school mathematics from National Lewis University. In addition, I help supervise Peer Mediation and Book Swap.
I am married to a wonderful man named Peter and have 3 terrific children; Andrew (Josie), Mandy and Brandon and 2 grandsons, Julian & Luka. I have a super cute dog, Charlie, that has one blue eye and one brown eye. I also have a fish named Goldie! I have a large extended family who all live in the same town as me. We often get together to either work on someone's house, have a bags tournament or a birthday party. I enjoy connecting with students and love to watch them grow in their confidence and love of learning.
