Hi! My name is Miss Binder and I am so excited to start this school year with you and your child! We will have a wonderful year full of learning, discovering, and growth. This is my sixth year at Erickson and my third year teaching 1st Grade. I have taught 2nd grade and before that I taught Kindergarten! I have a passion for teaching children and love seeing the excitement on their faces as they learn.
I went to Illinois State University, GO REDBIRDS!, and graduated in 2013. In addition to receiving my Early Childhood Degree, I have an endorsement in Special Education. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, and vacationing. I also LOVE Hello Kitty!
Erickson Elementary is a wonderful place to be everyday and I am thrilled to start this journey with my students! We are going to have a fabulous year! :)
