I  started out student teaching at Westfield Middle School back in 2007, then began my teaching career at Westfield Middle School following that.  I am going into my 9th year of teaching.  I hold a bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College, and I am currently finishing up my masters degree in curriculum instruction from Concordia University.  My love for kids, sports, health, and wanting to be a positive role model is what led me to wanting to be a teacher.  I continue to stay involved in school by being a part of various clubs and activities.  I love spending time with my husband, stepson, our dog, and welcoming our new baby boy in April! Also, going for walks and staying active.   I am looking forward to another great school year!
