You said "NO" when she wanted to draw a crayon mural on the wall... You said "NOT NOW" when he wanted a cookie before dinner... What did you say when they asked you to read them a story? Just one book... a mere 20 minutes... gives a child gifts for a lifetime!
Happy
Birthday Books! Your child has the opportunity to donate a book to
the "Happy Birthday Section" of the IMC. When your child has a birthday,
he/she may donate a book to the IMC. Your child's name and their birthdate
will be put on the inside of the book jacket and put on our special birthday
cart for all to see. Their name will also be listed in the Jaguar Journal
and the books will be put on the Birthday Shelf in the IMC. We will also list the donations on this web
site at the end of every month.
Over the last 5 years we have collected over 450 birthday and unbirthday books from students and staff. Thanks for all
the donations. Come in and check some of our new books out!

The Lovable Library Lady would like to give a very special thank you to the PTO for ALL the support they continue to give the library.
PTO ROCKS!!!!
There
is a terrific reference site that you can access at home. The children
use it here at school. It has over 60 popular elementary school magazines,
pamphlets, and encyclopedia and a children's dictionary. Why not give it
a try the next time your child has some research to do.
Just click on the following and it should
take you right in. When you enter you need to type in the following:
*Ask Mrs. Schmuldt for the log-in and password!

Try visiting the Bloomingdale Library for some great books too. Also, if you ever forget one of your books at school you can go to the library and use the textbooks there! Just ask the librarian at the Children's Desk downstairs!

You are visitor number 739 since
November 2, 2003.
