The students have read over 882,000 so far this year.

You said "NO" when she wanted to draw a crayon mural on the wall... You said "NOT NOW" when he wanted a cookie before dinner... What did you say when they asked you to read them a story? Just one book... a mere 20 minutes... gives a child gifts for a lifetime!

birthdayHappy Birthday Books!  Your child has the opportunity to donate a book to the "Happy Birthday Section" of the IMC. When your child has a birthday,  he/she may donate a book to the IMC. Your child's name and their birthdate will be put on the inside of the book jacket and put on our special birthday cart for all to see. Their name will also be listed in the Jaguar Journal and the books will be put on the Birthday Shelf in the IMC. We will also list the donations on this web site at the end of every month.
Over the last 5 years we have collected over 450 birthday and unbirthday books from students and staff. Thanks for all the donations. Come in and check some of our new books out!

Try visiting the Bloomingdale Library for some great books too. Also, if you ever forget one of your books at school you can go to the library and use the textbooks there! Just ask the librarian at the Children's Desk downstairs!
