The P.E.T.S.
(Primary Education Thinking Skills) program is offered to all
students in grades K – 3. Solve a convergent thinking
mystery to find the one right answer! Brainstorm the
many possibilities or ideas for a divergent thinking
invention! And, don’t forget to use visual/spatial
thinking to see and manipulate visual patterns that may
help find solutions! Once the answers/ideas/solutions have been
discovered use evaluative thinking to choose the best
one! Don’t forget to base decisions on measurable
criteria/facts, not opinions. |
