Learn about Mrs. Vaughn
I am a licensed speech-language pathologist working with students from ages three years to fifth grade. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degree from Northern Illinois University. Currently, I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and have an Illinois State License. Erickson Elementary welcomed me as a staff member in 2002. I am here full-time and feel fortunate to be able to work closely with our teachers and parents. I definitely enjoy spending time with children and experiencing life through their eyes.
On a personal note, I was raised in a small town and continue to find the same sense of community with Bloomingdale District 13. Presently, I live in Wheaton with my husband, Tim. I spend as much time as possible with my family, especially my amazing nephews and niece. A few of my hobbies are reading, cooking, and tent-camping.
