Grading Scale A 100-90 B 89-80 C 79-70 D 69-60 AssignmentsGrades will be determined on a points system. Tests and projects will have the most weight. Daily assignments and other homework will be scored on a 2,1,0 system and factored into the final grade at the end of the quarter based on where your student stands. The "daily warm-up" has an equivalent grade of a quiz. Current event reactions will also be scored as a quiz because I will be assessing several skills at once throughout the school year in that assignment. Materials

We will start at early explorations and colonization of the Americas. From there we will move onto the American Revolution and the creation of our constitution. Finally, we will journey through the 1800's and look at the events that split the United States and led to the Civil War. Suggestions
