We've been doing an amazing job at using the Internet to search for information.  The kids have been searching for answers to questions about animals, dinosaurs, and more!  They are getting very comfortable with navigating the Web.  One fantastic sight we're using is enchantedlearning.com.  It's filled with information that may be a little difficult to read, but with content appropriate for children. We answer our questions at ask.com.   

We're writing biographies about famous people.  

We still try to use our keyboarding skills.  The kids have done a wonderful job with learning how to type with all their fingers!  Your child can practice touch typing at http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/ which can also be found on the OWL page under 2nd grade.
