Unit 5 - Adventures!

    In the fifth reading unit for the year we will be discussing the Big Idea question, Who goes seeking an adventure and why?  We will discuss various adventurers and explorers and the tools that they used along their travels.  Students will also contemplate how technology can be used to help adventurers reach new places, learn about an astronaut's journey, and learn about the westward expansion of the United States during the gold rush!  Wow!  What a tremendous amount of interesting information this unit.  :)
