Related services are provided to children who are eligible.  Services include speech and language, physical therapy, occupational therapy, adaptive physical education, and vision and hearing itinerant services. 

Speech and Language Services

Speech and Language services are provided on an integrated and direct model.  The number of minutes per week are designated on a students IEP.  In Addition, a variety of language groups are provided each week.  On Mondays we have a social skills group in which the children are taught about appropriate social communication such as; being a good listener, not interrupting, manners, sharing, etc. On Tuesdays we have language groups that include following directions, vocabulary enhancement, sequencing, prepositions, role playing, and many other language enrichment activities.  On Thursdays our class cooks something for snack.  The focus of our cooking class is to work on following directions, sequencing and vocabulary development.
