First Grade Rules:

• Always do your best.

• Be respectful of others.

• Be a good listener.

• Raise your hand and wait to be called on.

• Walk quietly in the halls.

• Take care of your property and school property.

• Be safe.

Absences:

• Call the school if your child will be missing school due to illness or otherwise.

• Send a note if you are planning a trip or doctor's appointment and your child will not be in attendance.

• Send a note if your child will be picked up by another person or home route will be different from the normal routine.

• Send a note or call the school if there is something special that the teacher should know about.

Expectations:

• Look in the yellow folder daily.

• Try to do the work when assigned.
• Turn in the work even if it is late.
