Where will our adventures take us?

  

During Literacy Block, we will be working on the letters and sounds for h, v, l, and z. Our high frequency words are they, you, of, are, that, do, good, say, but, one, two, three, four, five. We will read fiction and nonfiction text to go along with our theme of the month. We will continue to connect our high frequency words to our reading and writing.

 

 Important Dates:

02/01- School Improvement Day- 1:40 dismissal grades 1st-5th.

02/02- Wear red for caring day.

02/03- Spirit Day- Wear black and gold.

02/14- Valentine's Day Parties.

02/17- Pizza and Poetry Night 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the DuJardin Gym.

02/20- Presidents' Day. (No School)

 

 

 
In math,  we will count on starting at various points we will add and subtract with objects and on paper.   We will count by 5s and practice with clocks.

     

On February 14th we will be having our parties for Valentine's Day. The A.M. party is 10:15-11:15 and our P.M. party is 2:00-3:00. If you have any questions, about that day, please let me know.
