The following are the responsibilities of the STP chairpeople. Please contact Linnea Corsten with any further questions. Thank you!

PRESIDENT… Attend all scheduled meetings. Coordinate the officers and committee chairpersons in order that the goals of the STP are met.

VICE PRESIDENT… Attend monthly meetings. Chair meetings in President's absence. Assist President as needed. Organize & Chair the Scholarship committee.

TREASURER…Keep records of receipts and expenditures, and payout funds in accordance with the approved budget as authorized by the Board.

SECRETARY…Attend monthly meetings. Prepare & distribute monthly STP meeting minutes (email & website). Assist President & Board with requested paperwork (information day sign up sheets & handling updated committee reports).

BAKE SALE…2 Bake Sales a year (Curriculum Night & Portfolio Night). Call and organize volunteers to bake or work each sale. (1 volunteer chairperson)

MEMBERSHIP…Send out letter in District packets. Collect all information and fees at the beginning of the year. Give information to Phone Directory committee and fees to the treasurer. (1 volunteer chairperson)

NOMINATING COMMITTEE…Solicit members to fill open positions on the STP board. (1-2 volunteer chairpeople, preferably 1 from DuJardin & 1 from Erickson)

SPIRIT WEAR… Contact vendor for pricing, create and distribute order forms, place orders, organize and distribute merchandise. There are 2 sales a year. (1-2 volunteer chairpeople)

SCHOOL SUPPLIES… Contact vendor for pricing, create and distribute order forms in the spring, place order, organize and distribute merchandise at information day. (1-2 volunteer chairpeople)

HOT LUNCH…Coordinate menus with hot lunch vendor. Create, print & distribute hot lunch forms. Count, organize & distribute tallied hot lunch forms. Contact vendor with counts. Organize hot lunch day volunteers (which is done at information day sign up). (3 volunteer chairpeople needed to run entire program plus volunteers who sign up on information day to work on Wednesdays at hot lunch).

MAGAZINE DRIVE…Contact vendor for dates & program details & ideas. Organize volunteers to count orders & distribute prizes. (2-3 volunteer chairpeople).

TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY…Organize and run brunch/lunch for teachers on records day. (2 volunteer chairpeople)

CASH BACK FOR SCHOOLS…Create flyers & other ways to promote the community to turn receipts in at Stratford Square Mall to work toward the prize of $500.00 cash at the end of the program. (1 volunteer chairperson).

DANCES…Contact & organize volunteers for each dance. Purchase (or solicit donations) food & drinks for each dance. (2-3 volunteer chairpeople)

SCHOLARSHIP…Send application letter with a strict deadline to surrounding schools for kids who have attended District 13 schools. Attach application to website. Collect applications from school. Blind copy & distribute to Scholarship committee volunteers who review & make their choice. Tally results, contact recipients & attend award ceremony to distribute the Scholarships. (1 volunteer chairperson)

STUDENT APPRECIATION DAY…Organize treats & prizes for after their assembly on this day. (2 volunteer chairpeople)

WEBSITE…Keep website up to date with STP activities & needs. (1 volunteer chairperson)

TELEPHONE DIRECTORY…Collect & organize names & phone numbers of students & staff (work with secretaries). Contact Art teacher for a student designed cover. Create directory & get vendor to print. (1-2 volunteer chairpeople)

LPPE LIASON…Attend LPPE meetings & report back to STP. (1 volunteer chairperson)
