Located at 149 Fairfield Way in Bloomingdale, Westfield School opened in 1975, receiving its moniker from the names of two bordering subdivisions, Westlake and Fairfield. Attended by 485 students, Westfield School's staff includes Dr. Deborah Kling, principal, and Mary Ann Fennell, associate principal, and approximately 52 teachers and instructional aides.

LAKE PARK EXPLORE TEST
The Explore placement test for Lake Park High School will administered on Saturday, December 13, 2008. It is very important that all 8th grade students take this test, since it will play an important part in determining schedules at Lake Park. Students are asked to arrive at Lake Park East at 7:45 a.m. with two number 2 pencils, an eraser and a calculator. The test will end around 11:30 a.m.

POWERSCHOOL PARENT ACCESS
PowerSchool Parent Access is now available to all Westfield parents. PowerSchool Parent Access provides online access to student grades and attendance. Click here to learn how to use PowerSchool Parent Access.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
In an effort to improve safety, security and supervision of the Westfield Campus, D13 has installed video surveillance cameras throughout the school building. The cameras will be used in common areas of the school for the primary purpose of promoting a safe and secure environment for students and staff. Video recordings will only be viewed by students, parents and/or staff with an administrator present. Disciplinary action may be taken with students based on video documentation.

LATE BUS
Westfield has a late bus that leaves school at approximately 5:05 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, beginning the second week of school. This one bus covers most of our district bus territory, makes fewer stops, and takes an hour or more to complete its run.
