“A Christmas Carol”
All 6th grade ELA classes are reading a dramatized version of Charles’ Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” this month. Students will focus on reading strategies and characterization, as well as the setting of Victorian London and how that plays a role in Dickens’ work.
Below you will find the worksheet packet to be completed throughout the unit, as well as the alternate assignment for Mrs. Furst’s group.
Expect a quiz on Scenes 1-3 on Monday, Dec. 5 and a final exam upon completion of the play ON WED. DEC. 14. All students have their own copy of the play from which to study.
