8th grade students will go on an end of the year field trip to Chicago on Wednesday, May 23. A letter to parents was sent home on Friday, April 13th with an explanation.

The 7th Grade students have the opportunity to earn a Reward trip to go to the Oasis on Friday May 25th.   Students must have all work completed, submitted to the teacher, and have passing grades in all classes. Student must also be in good behavior standing.

Graduation Dance Help Needed

Help is needed from 8th grade parents to plan for the ‘HOLLYWOOD’ themed Graduation Dance happening May 22, 2012.

The next parent meeting is Wed., March 21 at 7:00 pm at Westfield.

Students in both grade levels will read novels in small groups. they will have a packet to complete for each book working on key concepts such as summary writing, story elements, and characterization.

Rocket Math is a researched based program to help the students improve all their math facts.  The students in this class will work on multiplication and division until they master the facts.
