Inserting Text Into a Microsoft Publisher Document
  1. Click on the Text icon (a blue A) on the toolbar along the left side of the screen. Drag the + pointer to your document to draw a Text frame.
  2. Type your text in the Text frame. You can change the size, font, color, etc. of the text by highlighting the text and making the changes on the Formatting toolbar. (Unlike working with text in Word, PowerPoint, etc., the Formatting toolbar only appear in Microsoft Publisher when you’ve clicked on a text box.)
