Inserting ClipArt
- Go to the Insert menu and choose Picture,
then ClipArt. This will bring up the Microsoft Office ClipArt Gallery.
- To search for a particular kind of ClipArt, type a word
in the Search for clips: field located towards the top of the Insert
ClipArt window. The clips related to your search word will appear. To
go to a new page of ClipArt, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on
Keep Looking. If you don't want to do a search, you can click on one
of the categories in the Insert ClipArt window and view the ClipArt
selections in that category.
- Once you've chosen the clip you want, click on the clip.
A window with four icons will appear. Choose the top icon, which will insert
the clip into your document. If you don't want to insert any more clips, close
the Insert ClipArt window by clicking on the "X" in
the upper right hand corner.
- To resize the image, place your pointer over one of the
handles. Using the Resize cursor, drag the handle to resize
the image. (Tip: To make the image wider, click and drag one of the handles
on the sides of the table. To make the image taller, click on the handle on
the top or the bottom of the image. To resize it proportionally, use one of
the corner handles.)
- To move the image, place your pointer somewhere on the image. Using the
Move cursor, drag the image to the desired location.
