Telling Office2000 to look in the ClipArt folder on your hard drive for images
Open Microsoft Publisher.
Draw a Picture Frame, then open the Insert menu and choose Picture, then ClipArt.
From the Microsoft Clip Gallery, choose a clip that you know is stored on the Office2000 CD. (If you don't know of one, click on the clips until you find one that asks you to insert the Office2000 disc).
You will get a message that says "The file 'xxxx.wmf' is stored on a disc called '09PRMCD02'. Please insert this disc." Click on the Look Elsewhere button, then on the Update Location button. This will open the Select new location window. In the Look in: field, click on the C: drive, then on the ClipArt folder, then on the Standard folder. This tells the Office2000 programs (Publisher, Word, etc.) to look for clip art images in the ClipArt folder you created on your hard drive rather than on the Office2000 CD. Your clipart image should be inserted in the Publisher document.
