Saving a picture from the Internet
- Find a picture on a website that you would like to download.
Using the Right mouse button, click on the picture, and choose Save
Picture As.
- The Save Picture window will appear. Point to your
H: drive in the Save In field, and rename the picture, if necessary.
Click on the Save button.
Inserting the picture
- Click on the Picture Frame icon (a picture of mountains)
on the toolbar along the left side of the screen. Drag the + pointer
to your document to draw a Picture frame.
- From the Insert menu, choose Picture, then
From File.
- In the Look in: field, select drive H:.
- Locate your picture and double click on it.
- To resize the picture, place your pointer over one of the
handles. Using the Resize cursor, drag the handle to resize the picture. (Tip:
To make the picture wider, click and drag one of the handles on the sides of
the table. To make the picture taller, click on the handle on the top or the
bottom of the picture. To resize it proportionally, use one of the corner handles.)
- To move the picture, place your pointer somewhere on the picture. Using the
Move cursor, drag the picture to the desired location.
