Mrs. Warner 5th Grade

Miss Warner's Classroom Page

Hi! My name is Mrs. Warner. I began teaching at Erickson in 2016.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Lewis University. I worked for about a year in a marketing career and quickly realized it wasn’t what I wanted in a career. In my heart, I knew teaching would be the right fit. As a result, I decided to continue my education at National Louis University to earn my teaching certificate in Elementary Education. While attending graduate school, I worked as a paraprofessional in District 200 and coached a couple of youth soccer teams at Synergy Soccer Club. I played soccer at Lewis University and couldn’t quite give up the sport after college. I was happy to have the opportunity to combine two of my loves, working with children and soccer.

Teaching has been a large part of my family as one of my older sisters and my dad currently teach. Everyday, I had the opportunity to see how much joy teaching gave them. This is what I strived for in a career. Teaching is a career I am passionate about, and one in which I can inspire children and help them grow.

This year should be an absolute blast! I am enjoying getting to know all the children in the class. I feel very fortunate to have such a great group of children. I can’t wait to continue to get to know and work with all of the wonderful students at Erickson! Thank you!
